Hi, I am your gorgeous YOUFOREVA jewel. I was made with love using noble metals, semi-precious and precious stones. I know you are in love with me, so please take good care of me, and we will live a long and happy life together!

I love to go out, shine and highlight your natural beauty, but it is best to adorn me after getting ready. That way, I will not be damaged by scents, body lotions, creams, hairsprays or other products. All of which are of course indispensable for any diva, but can, unfortunately, cloud the brilliance of the stone and dull the surface of the precious metals.

I have a confession. I am heliophobic, which means I DON’T like sunlight. It can cause fading of my gemstone’s natural colour, so better to leave me at home when heading to the beach. I am also not a big fan of water. So please NO swimming, bathing or showering while I’m on!!! I am very delicate, so be careful not to scratch, bang or drop me as this could break, chip or loosen my stone from its setting.

You need to keep me clean! Sterling silver and gold plated jewellery to tarnish over time. It is a natural process and nothing to be alarmed about. Thankfully with proper care, the precious metals will retain their beauty and lustre for many years to come. Using a soft jewellery cleaning cloth tickles my fancy (preferably after each wear to remove any traces of tarnish, oils, sweat and other chemicals). Do not use harsh brushes as they can scratch the metal or stone. If using a professional jewellery-cleaning product, always read the manufacturer’s instructions first. Remember when in doubt ask a professional jeweller!

Last but not least, I prefer the naps between our encounters in a fabric-lined jewellery box or pouch, where you can put a little Silica Gel pillow that will remove moisture from the air.
